Who wears 35?

I was wondering with all the trading of picks and players, who is likely to be wearing number 35 next year?

I presume Fas hands it over and gets a new one (15 perhaps?) but if the Pies trade all their early pics for other players who does the number 35 go to?  For example I see today we have traded our 47th pick to the Suns for a young indigenous Qld guy called Peter Yagmoor. But we didn't draft him, we traded him. See why I am confused?

Then you have Marty Clarke but I'm sure the concept wasn't designed for mature players. Is anyone still with me?

I see our first pick is at no 65, so if this is used in the draft, will this guy get 35??

???  :o  ???  :-[  ???

The first player drafted in the NATIONAL draft

Pies also got Pick 50 from the Giants also Cruise, not to panic, Daicos and Presti's legacy will live on

It's been awhile since our first pick was 50! Puts a bit of pressure on a low draft pick.

If you are a forward, you get the spirit of daicos throughout your body.

If you are a backmen, you get the blood of a hardened defender from presti.

Chad Cornes does not want his Port Power #35 at GWS - he's said on radio he's looking into #12 (in honour of his ol' man)

Let's hope that Collingwood find a suitable wearer of the esteemed guernsey, similar in the way that Adelaide found it suitable that Jarred Petrenko fill out #23 after Andrew McLeod's retirement  ::)

Following that choice path who would be the most spudliest choice to wear #35 at Pie Land? There's method in the decision to give such a number to a spud, they will try and emulate the player to a certain level - they will feel the weight of expectation that goes with the number and attempt the heroic performance that comes with it. Why give it to a player of their own intrinsic value to the club, it will remove him of his own identity as he too searches to sprinkle his own good perormances with repeats of #35's. Make no mistake, that #35 will be in the background of any player's head.

Is Marty Clarke deserving of it, in either respect?

Perhaps rather it should be retired  :-\

they should give it to a ruck or a mid and they might get another gun.
