Based on this article does this mean we stand a chance to get some compensation for Luke Power.  All being even we should.

Reckon that you should if Ports deal is anything to go by.

Ziplock

Brisbane should go power off (see what I did there?)

Maybe port was only offered compo because GWS and the afl felt so sorry for it as a club :P

DG

GWS have agreed to 'compensate' port, as im sure they would prefer to offload late picks / young players they dont want, instead of using their early picks in the preseason draft on cornes and brogan. Probably works better in their favour that Port have asked for compensation. I would suggest that they would be happy to do a similar type arrangement with Brisbane should they agree to it.

depends on whether Power asked to step aside or he chose to of his own volition ...  ;)
step aside = nup, you have no honour
own volition = all things being even

The saga continues and looks like getting a bit messy. Remember Power is officially a contracted player for next year hence he needs to be delisted.

Will GWS outlay for all three Brogan, Cornes and Power if forced too. I do not think so but stranger things have happened before

Ziplock

I think they would be willing for cornes and power. Maybe not brogan, except in a purely coaching role (if they're forced to pay compo on all 3)
