Can someone please explain why we have only played (and will in 2012) Hawthorn ONCE EVERY YEAR SINCE 2006??? It's just that my GF barracks for them and we only ever get one chance to see our teams play each other. I thought there was some rotation system every 4 years or so whereby it works out you still play each other 'x' number of times?? - but i stand to be corrected... the draw will never be fair until everyone plays each other once i say! :)

Ziplock

They don't want Carlton to feel the crushing power of the Hawks more than once a season, so that their fans don't get depressed and never watch AFL again?

Bluesman

haha...yes i am getting used to that lately!! lol... think we have only beaten you guys maybe twice in the past 10 years! We just don't match up well against the Hawks - but every year is getting closer to our next win...hopefully!!!! :)

We will beat Hawthorn next year :D

Ratten has also forecast that the Blues will be taller up forward next year, with Shaun Hampson playing out of the goal square, and Kreuzer and Jarrad Waite also nearby.

This would suggest that the Blues have determined once and for all that Lachie Henderson is best suited as a key defender.

looks like we r going tall and keeping Hendo down back, i like that setup Jamo/Hendo not sold on Hampson up forward unless he can improve his ghastly kicking for goal, is this a blight on Warnock's role in the side if they r talking up Hampson/Kruezer combo :-\

Master Q

Don't mind where Hendo plays. Think he's more effective down back though.

been a great result with hendo down back, don,t fix it if it aint broke, if Kreuzer/hampson become a fwd combo wondering where that may leave waite ,does that mean he may play another role ???

definitely not Waite is the leadup target he played this year with Kruez/Sauce the deep option...
