Hi All, on the issue not of a particular player but of a particular position, who is the best for  our 4th DEF.

I had Waters at $330K odd, then I went to Heppel at $410K odd.

Any ideas on who will be your 4th back. A 4th premium a risky mid pricer like waters or even lake (my 5th)

Is Heppel worth the money, Is Waters, who IS?

Ziplock

Heppell and Waters are both worth the cash imo. If waters can stay fit, he's good for a 90 average. Heppell should be able to push his average up as a second year player, similar to what trengove and martin did this year. If he goes up by 15 odd point, he'll be in the top 3 scoring backs for sure.

So basically, yeah I see value in them both. Waters if you're a bit tight on cash, his durability is a bit of a concern, or Heppell if you're willing to fork a little bit more.

Im seeing houli as a unique option in this area? His reliable and think he could push his average up. A good option if u fear the dreaded 2nd year blues.

Ziplock

yeah, houli does have a chance there as well. I'd still take heppell over him though.

Grimes is another option if fit. haha. Grime, fit.

yeah lol grimes hell suck in everyone again. Prob carve up nab cup.

Jukes

4th back I have Heppell then for 5th I'm tossing up between Grimes and Waters, leaning towards Grimes as Waters is severly injury prone (missed a chunk of last season and missed two straight years a few years ago).

Waters has pumped out 9 more games than grimes in past 2 seasons. His VC of the club and will def have no job security issues. I think grimes is the new drummond.

(el)Beau Waters has 85 games in his last 8 seasons including two seasons missed completely at 10.625 games per season.

Grimes has not played many games but that is due to ONE injury broken season and three where he hasn't been first team due to being youthful and all.

Could go either way though.
