Team with $268.4k:

God / Lids / Fisher / Broughton / Bock / Stanley / Bob Murphy (Heppel / Otten / Toy)

Swan / Pendles / GAJ / Thompson / Boyd / Cotchin (Krakouer / Harris / Andreoli)

Cox / McEvoy (Lobbe / JTippet)

Buddy / Goodes / Pav / Petrie / NRoo / Mzungu / I Smith (Green / Lynch / Talia)

OK, I'm currently lost at where is best to spend my money and trades.

Was thinking of booting Green, but he is only worth a tad more Talia and less than Smith, Mzungu and Krak. Surely, with Gold Coast in the last match the Demon captain is worth something in the Grannie.

Pav is also troubling me. Irf he's not named this week he'll be gone.

I'm thinking Krak > Stevie J and Pav > Fyfe.

If Pav makes the teams, I'll probably assume Harvey won't risk himnow that finals are out of the pic (though he has played his two stars underdone now this year), and maybe upgrade Heppell.

What do others think?

charliesheen

decent team with 4 trades.

can you post the other teams?

Would bench Broughton & Start Heppel.

Pretty sure Pav is finished this year

Green is a tough one against GCS.    Surely they won't start him as sub :O

Still think he will probably score more than Nroo.

Only the last bothers me at all, he would've beat me by two points this week. Had 100+ on the other two.

charliesheen

you'll beat those easy.  I wouldn't consider SJ, way way way over priced, given those fixtures.

4 trades not in this order.

1. Pav > FORWARD (personally I would go Rioli.  simply choose best available, if his rested in GF, well thats out of your control)

2. Cotchin > Mitchell (guaranteed 130+ in GF)

3. Broughton > Scotland (gibbs is pricey now)

4. Krak > ??? depends how comfortable you are with Green.

5. Bench NRoo if possible for remaining games.

Ringo

Just another suggestion with 4 trades disagreeing slightly with Charlie here
This week
Broughton to Tutt  (cash available now $552.6) (Play Heppell on field)
Pav to Stevie J , Leon Davis, ROK or Rioli or other prem of your choice
GF Week
Harris > Mitchell
Heppell to Scotland/Gibbs  or other Prem Defender you can afford with cash left.

Gives contingencies for finals general soreness resting with Cotchin as M8,

CFC 1979

as your name suggests this week will be bedlam

Pav + Broughton out
Cox, Pendles + Bob Murphy ( now dogs are done ) could get general
Green may get dropped ( you don't green vest your capt unless there is problems )
I Smith had hammy issues
ROO sore ankle
not to mention bench boys not playing

form a game plan with different scenarios and pray Thursday night and go with the one that works

charliesheen

I think this offers a lot of flexibility.

Broughton > Birchall (frees 15-20k)
Pavlich > Rioli/Cloke, push Robert Murphy in forward line & start Heppel (use that cash here)

with Sylvia out, Brad Green is almost a certainty to come back imo.

Then reassess next week how to spend the remaining 250k with 2 trades.

charliesheen

An interesting note is that most premiums people have brought in have not exactly outscored a lot of these rookies.

For example, recently

Heppel/Stanley has been out performing or at least matching Hurn, Johncock, Fisher, Birchall, Suckling, etc.
Mzungu/I.Smith has been out performing or at least matching NRoo, JRoo, Lecras, Sylvia (until he smashed out that 150 and got suspended), Green, Brennan, etc.

Ringo

You have a number of options available to you.  Suggest you draft out a variety of sceanrios and then wait for final team announcements on Friday and make your 2 trades for this week.  Then asses for final 2 trades next week.

I'm thinking Pav > Rioli, Broughton > Enright

Heppel > Scotland next week

just go with your gutt.  not sure I would be targeting enright though against some pretty miserly teams in sydney & collingwood.

The last 5 weeks, Birchall stats are a bit misleading.   His had 2 games which were in the wet, and 1 game against the Blues who don't give away many points.

Whats interesting is the Hawks face, WB and GCS, who are ranked 3 and ranked 1 in giving away the most fantasy points for scores over 100.  PTA are ranked 2.  Yes, WB are ranked number 3 believe it or not.

Would be looking at Birch & Rioli/Leon Davis myself.   Leon davis is going to go absolute nuts in WA, and probably Rioli too againt no backline WB.
