roo boys!

What an awesome match! :D

Just got back home, voice is a bit hoarse after cheering all night 8)

Goldstein moves yet another step closer to AA, with another very good performance. Champion!

Great debut for Mullett. He looks good.

McMahon smashed Ballantyne all night pretty much ;D

Swallow, again :-*

I could list just about every player (well maybe not Ziebs)

Petrie did his job. Despite getting a low DT/SC score he was constantly taking McPharlin out of the 50 to leave Edwards, Pedersen, Thomas, Campbell, Harper and many others plenty of space to operate in. Preferably Petrie would have gotten on the scoreboard himself, but it's a good sign that our highest score for the year came with our leading goalkicker not even getting one :)

Finals well and truly a big chance. Brisbane were very promising too, hoping that if they play like that they could beat Sydney in round 24, almost assuring us a spot in the eight. If we were to face Carlton the first week, that could be tantalising.

Go Roos! :D :-* <3

Just remember Bris v Sydney is in Sydney but hopefully we will win that to give us something to go into 2012 with.  Personally after the season we have had would like nothing more than to dump Sydney in the last round especially after the towelling they gave us at home.

North Melbournes Finest

I'll post a video later tonight of the standing ovation that the crowd gave our boys at the end of the game, also I've got from about 5 meters away Brad Scott clapping the supporters.

I've probably been to 50 odd Kangaroos games in my 18 years of life, and that'd probably be the best I've ever been too. Everything went right for us.

- Mullett I thought was great, went in for the ball hard, even got taken out by the Freo player, not sure if deliberate or not. He got 17 odd touches and had a couple of shots at goal, very impressed and he's only 19.

- Goldstein got beaten in the taps, and according to supercoach by Sandilands  :o, but I thought Goldy was clearly the better of the two, and really staked him claim not just for AA team (Bench), but for a starting role perhaps, he won't though.

- Hayden Ballantyne has the girliest voice in football, I swear he's the only player you can hear on the ground from the crowd because when he calls for the ball, he squeeks like a man who's just been kicked in the groin.

I was part of that standing ovation. 8) Amazing effort.

One of the best matches I've been to also. Loved McPhee's numerous errors, much to the crowd's delight ;D How about Ballantyne's run down the wing, Rawlings chasing all the way until Balla's peripheral vision failed him and he got crunched from the side :D One of my biggest cheers of the night hahaha
