Time for NEWMAN to go but is BOCK a worthy replacement? He is in great form, a unique defender and I feel the pick of the bunch. Will his run home of Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne (A) and Hawthorn result in some consistent scores though?

Other candidates are â€" Adcock, Birchall, Suckling or Murphy.

5 trades left and $21,100 in the bank.

Def: Deledio, Gibbs, Goddard, Fisher, Broughton, Enright, NEWMAN (Puopolo, Buckley, McGovern)
Mid: Boyd, Ablett, Judd, Pendlebury, Priddis, Swan (Mzungu, Jacobs, Irons)
Ruck: Cox, Jamar (McCauley, Tippett)
For: Chapman, Pavlich, Franklin, Rioli, O’Keefe, Riewoldt.N, Goodes, (Talia, Richardson, Petrie)

Cash is no issue as Newman is more expensive and I have some money in the bank.

My worries with Adcock stem from his injuries.

Are the Hawthorn players worth looking at and what are peoples thoughts on Bob Murphy?

Ringo

You will have to go with gut feeling as who Wirrulla score the most during finals
Hawthorns Draw Port Carlton Bulldogs Gold Coast
Gold Coast Brisbane Adelaide Melbourne Hawthorn
Bulldogs Essendon, Port, Hawthorn and Freo
Brisbane Gold Coast Collingwood West Coast Sydney
Looking at draw may favour Hawthorn players Suckling, Birchall
The concern I have with Bock  is his scores in prev rounds Bris 58, Adelaide 59, Melbourne 87, Hawthorn 89.

There's definately risk and reward in this trade. Bock will be my POD where others have Suckling, Birchall and some Murphy. Are the hawks a chance to rest these two leading up to the finals. They have GC in the final round. A perfect opportunity to apply the general soreness and freshen up before the first final against the cats most likely!

Bock baring injury should play every game and is in stella form.

Mmmm decisions decisions....

Don't mind as a POD especially when considering last 10 game average and maybe the lower scores early were an anomly.  Considering he has Brisbane this week and 2 (Adelaide and Hawthorn) at Metricon Stadium worth the risk.  The other concern I had with him will his role change as a result of Campbell Browns Injury but that may not happen given McKennas tactics of not going defensive at all.  Loved that about theCoast even though getting well beaten structures were maintained.

I don't consider bock any more of a risk than any other options available.  Based on most recent 5 & 10 round averages Bock is outperforming the bunch of them, barring Broughton.

Personally, Suckling looks like he is having fitness issue.  He has missed 2 weeks due to general 'soreness' which is a bit of a problem.

Murphy does not have the greatest durability record out there, and I tend to stay away from bottom 8 teams, with only a few exceptions.

Adcock's scoring has been too unpredictable, would only use this if you needed cash to facilitate other upgrades.

Birchall is an okay pick, but scoring has been down lately.

Great analysis guys, appreciated once again. Having 5 trades left I will most likely take a risk with Bock and hope for some rewards.
