Deledio, Goddard, Enright, Gibbs, Broughton, Fisher, Lower   (Hibberd, Toy, Golby)

Swan, Boyd, Ablett, Selwood, Priddis, Montagna    (Foley, Jacobs, Prestia)

Cox, Sandilands   (Smith, Derickx)

Franklin, Pavlich, Goodes, O'Keefe, N Riewoldt, Rioli, Smith   (Mzungu, Talia, Richardson)

6 trades and $74,400 remaining
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

only after a league win, i've sewn up a top 2 spot.

that's my best 22, only 6 trades and 2 upgrades to make. 1 def, 1 fwd... so this week i was thinking a straight swap

Mzungu -> LeCras/Sylvia

LeCras has Melbourne, Essendon, Brisbane and Adelaide in the finals rounds
Sylvia has West Coast, Richmond, Gold Coast and Port Adelaide in finals rounds

i could wait till after North's bye, and get Harvey.. but it's a risk going into my first final without 7 premo's, mainly because if i lose the first final, i have Selwood and Enright to cover in the next round.

really need some help here guys, not sure in which direction i go.

should i stick with the trades mentioned?  if so, which player would you recommend?
or should i wait till after North's bye?

please guys any help here would be massively appreciated

cheers :)

I know he is more expensive and I never thought I would say this again but have you considered Leon Davis.  His last scores have been better than most forwards averaging 117 last three games.  Although he is listed forward he has been playing back and with Shaw's suspension will more than likely continue to get points.  maybe even the POD for finals.

Davis Last 3 game average 117 last 5 110
Le Cras Last 3 game aaverage 91 last 5 88
Sylvia Last 3 game average 88 Last 5 90

To free up cash and as we are at the pointy end of the season I would be looking at a downgrade to lowest possible player to give you extra cash.  Your last player after this weeks bye should not be rquired at all so that is why i am suggesting this.

thanks for the replies fellas.

to be honest i didn't even consider Leon.. but looking at his record.. it's pretty damn good, he hasn't scored under 80 since round 6.
7 scores over 100 in that time...

he's looking better and better the more i look at it.. i just don't know if i can take a gamble on it.

I.Smith -> Callinan
Prestia -> Leon

how do they look ???

Leon Davis is pretty pricey now, he was still good value last week.   For an extra 20k more, I would probably go Fyfe/Cloke, unless you feel that extra 20k could go somewhere else.

Expect Cloke to tear it up against the Bombers with no Pears/Hooker/Hurley.

Bill Manspeaker

god dammit why's there gotta be so many options. i looked at Fyfe a while ago and his last 4 rounds and i think they were pretty tough, although it probably won't hurt his scores because he is a freak. i don't like Cloke and won't consider him, hate everything about him.

Fyfe is a great option.. but i'm probably gonna just go the way i was gonna go.. with LeCras probably. i keep an extra trade, and chances are he will score well against poor opposition in the finals

Fyfe, Cloke, Davis and Sylvia owners should be very happy, as they will now tear it up for the rest of the year, just coz God likes to do that stuff to me.

cheers fellas :)

Josh Kennedy is also out this week (got hit with a tennis ball in the eyeball), so this may affect lecras mid field time this week.

Brad Green is also a very good alternative to Lecras.  Has a nice finish to the year as well.

so something else you may want to consider.

Bill Manspeaker

i went to do the LeCras trade and i couldn't stop looking at Fyfe's name.... and this is what's running through my mind

Fyfe has the harder draw, but he will still kill it..
LeCras has the easier draw and could possibly be the difference in the grand final

with LeCras, i have 5 trades to make 1 more upgrade, but will need a double for the last back. leaving me with 3 trades

with Fyfe, i have 4 trades to make 1 more upgrade, and will still need a double for the last back.. leaving me with 2

is it too risky for the Fyfe trade, when i could possibly only gain maybe 20-30 points out of it? and maybe even lose points?

would it be better to stick with LeCras, and MAYBE lose a couple of points in the grand final (maybe) but be better off in the long run because of injuries and such

sorry to be a flowerin pest mate but this is tearin my brain in half..  in your opinion, which would be the better option?

i would grab fyfe/cloke over lecras with the downgrade, because thats exactly what i have done last week, and i have less trades than you :O

thats my personal opinion.

but im not against the lecras idea.  lecras loves scoring well against showerty teams

its basically the same decision i had to make last week, came very close to choosing lecras as well.

sweet mate cheers, i'm goin Fyfe. he is a gun anyway and i want him in my supercoach team. he's been in my DT all year and about time he comes and joins me over in SC. with only 4 trades left after though, i'll leave my back upgrade for a couple of weeks, Lower is pretty solid down there anyways.

thanks again mate, good luck this week and for the finals! (or overall if goin for overall)

:)

I'd trade for Sylvia, look at the final rounds..
also I'd trade foley out for another play to cover.. then upgrade lower
