h bugger, ha, for some reason thought it was port not the crows with the bye...gonna have to start prestia then...

im not really concerned abt my ruck coverage, just think i need to set up my rucks for the rest of the year, not looking at geting sandi back either....

i feel i've missed the boat with ablett but also conceeded i can't have him....but now im thinking i need him as most ppl in my league have him and im going for league

do you thinking i need him or just let it go....im pretty happy with my midfeild bar bartel and wells with finals bye, didn't think when i brought in wells a few weeks ago....should of got ablett instead....

Maybe look at Smith to Lobbe who will now be PA ruck for rest of year and on the bubble this week with a low B/e of -58 and a score of 118 on the weekend. Then upgrade Wells to Ablett if you wish to go that way.

as of after round 17 team stands as:

backs: deledio, fisher, gibbs, goddard, bock, malceski, lower (puopolo, hibbard, golby)

mids: wells, priddis, swan, cross, hodge, bartel (jacobs, smith, evans)

rucks: cox, lobbe (bailey, j tippet)

fwds: pav, goodes, johnson, franklin, n roo, petrie, rioli (talia, prestia, mzungu)

5 trades and 107k left

going for league, clear by 2 games in my league...

plans for rest of year....

pop/hibbard downgrade/upgrade to rookie -> birchall or newman

mzungu or prestia, prob mzungu to a decent fwd to cover finals byes

also may look at upgradeing lobbe/bailey to prem

gibbs sideways swap

still thinking about ablett too....ha but pretty happy with my midfield

may look at getting rid of nroo too....

let me know wat you think....

prob won't do anymore trades till rd20....

Have you thought at upgrading one of your defenders to DPP Forward/Def to give you additional flexibility eg Bob Murphy, Gilbert, Grundy, Leigh Brown etc. to take advantage of Talias dpp.
I would also be looking at Pendles as a must in your midfield as you may struggle to win final without Pendles or GAJ.

havn't thought about using dpp with talia...not really looking at either....

yer def thinking i need ablett or pendles or both for finals....don't have enough trades i think, pretty happy with my midfield but i kno it isn't the best!

i think you just need to assess things week by week. yeh no trades needed this week.

The only trade I would consider this week would be Ablett at his juicy price under $500k and if you only want to use the one trade then Cross to Ablett (Cross has been a disappointment).

I would do the trade. Cross is likely to miss, add in another bye to go with it.
