Alot of people harsh on players who you picked up for a price rise and a bit of a punt, such as Adcock, Knights and Matera. All gained nearly or more than $100k at one stage so if we're talking about your starting squad these guys were ok (not the best but ok).

Wish I started with: Pav, Pendles, Mitchell (choose other premiums of course but this is a wishlist!), O'Keefe, Rockliff  (both nicely priced at 350k), Fyfe, Shiels, Martin, McKenzie, Suckling, McEvoy (someone recomended him pre-season but I went with Sandi), Curnow, Liberatore, and Savage.

Lots of midfield guns missed out on and hopping on Libba after round 2 and Curnow after first price rise weren't great moves in the end.

Shouldn't of started with:
Duffield (been disappointing)
Michael Johnson (dual position but for Freo where did his ruck/midfield/forward role go?!)
Foley (should've had patience!)
Irons (choose him over Pittard - awful)
Bewick
Richardson
Joel Selwood (hindsight of course but finals bye was never great)

And McKernan lucky not to slip onto that list, I picked him for his DPP link with Johnson. The season is just about in the trash can for me so looking forward to 2012 and no byes!!

sandi, cox, smith looked good at the start of the year...
playing smith for a lot of the year has cost me 30-40 points oper week.
would have liked Petrie.

The F.A.R.K.

suckling, birchall, mitchell, fyfe, rockliff/redden, PETRIE

last minute decision to get obrien over martin before lockout because martin had multi bye and obrien could sub with mckernan in fwds

Got cloke when he was cheap and got shiels early

if i could alter one player in each position it would be this

(start of the year)

toy->stef martin
bartel->shiels
vickery->bailey
richardson-> fyfe

would have used about the same value of the salary cap (if not less)

PowerToWin

Should Have: Shiels, S. Martin, McEvoy, Rockliff, Ablett
Should Not: J. Brown, Atley, Matera, Harris, Green
