There would be more out there feel free to search and add them here obviously dominated by ball-winning ruckman it takes a special kind of ruckman to achieve the feat and we have 8 running around in the league at the moment we are pretty lucky

*steven king was also able to achieve it early 2000s as well as pair of agile melbourne ruckman jeff white and jim stynes, darren jolly 2008, jason blake 2006, troy simmonds 2008

This is a funny post, you seem to have taken the time to review the stats for this
IMO hitouts shouldn't count, only Ruckman can get this stat consitantly, therefore only tackles can make up a Quadruple-double (ie just like Blocks in basketball) much harder to get but obtainable by all players
therefore I can only see one real Quadruple double on your list and I'm not surprised
Joel Selwood round 17 2009, 16kicks 11handballs 10marks 11tackles

Fireballz

I can't be bothered doing the research but do any of the 10+ goal performers have a quadruple? I suppose they'd be unlikely to reach 10 tackles but they might sneak in a 10th handball or something?

Ziplock

I would personally be counting any of those- 10 goals, 10 HOs, 10 tackles for the 4th quadruple.

yea a lot of time trawling through the fanfooty stats haha but its fascinating research, all the great goal kickers recent time(ablett, dunstall, lockett) never managed to get the ten handballs as well as the goals maybe thats why they were so good at kicking goals

Who will be the next player to achieve this feat?? i think matt kreuzer is a real threat and there is also a young gun down in perth who could become a quintuplist with his ability to tackle if he manages to find his way to 10marks he would be an amazing chance

Justin Bieber

Can be 10 of anything to be counted as a double. In Basketball can even have 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals and 10 blocks for a Quadruple Double. So going by this theory guessing Tackles would be best suit. Goals or behinds wouldn't be ruled out either, although much harder to get (especially behinds :P).

Wonder if Free Kicks For could make the stat, Judd and JSel might reach it sooner as well :P. I'm sure there could be a few with 10 tackles with the handballs/kicks there but getting that fourth would be a doozey. Very interesting concept there callum.

in basketball you can get a double in turnovers so i guess a free kick against is equivalent, that would mean buddy could have a chance at a few of those, not so much this year but when you watch his games there are alot of -3.

CrowsFan

Then you could have the bad double double, 10 clangers, 10 free's against!

Merrett could easily get 10 spoils.
