You weren't the only one :P
Tipped the Bombers out of love for them but never expected this.
As great as the win is we need to take Geelong out of this for a minute. There are a lot more positives than that to come out of this -
We actually walked away with 4 points: No easy feat for the last month or so
We got the points without Jobe: First time in a long time, this will give Jobe and everyone else in the team a huge confidence boost.

The next 7 days we look towards the Richmond game, we really need to win that.

Even though I usually go for the underdogs, this win didn't really help North's position :-\

Guys don't get too cocky (not saying you guys in particular). We can match it with the best but we can't sure up games against lower placed teams.
However, in saying that:
CARN THE BOMBERS!!!

I rang everyone i knew last night and told them to put money on essendon..... this is typical essendon... get up for the big games and loose to the sh*t teams....

wrapped that I won some good mates a crapload of coin! BUT Richmond will be firing next week, going to be a tight one

We struggle against the tigers.
Myers, Hooker, Watson, Lonergan and Welsh will all miss?
Think we will win though. The boys have a lot of focus now.

We are just that Random, that we lost against Richmond, and won against Geelong. That's just how random we are!!
Is that a good thing? I reckon yes, because it means we cant get much worse, but we can definitely improve! :)

That is the general cycle luigi...

Bad team: Lions (1998), Pies (2004), Cats (2003)
Inconsistent team: Lions (2000), Pies (2007), Cats (2006)
Great Team: Lions (2001-2004), Pies (2010-), Cats (2007-)
...

I sure hope so. Looking at our list it is certainly capable.
I think Hurley proved he is a natural backman. Man he was good when he was on Pods.
Pears, Hooker, Hurley and Fletch probably cant all fit down their though..
Key forward wouldnt hurt in Trade week.
