+1 deserves the kermit, he should of had more awareness and known jimmy was coming back with the flight of the ball, but thats footy i guess, expect a collision in any direction.

This is the situation..

5 trades left, my team is so near completion.. but I've got Bartel  :-[

Should I keep him.. and save a trade - I do have sufficient cover for him (Isaac Smith, Michael Hibberd)

OR should I trade him to either Rischitelli, Scotty Thompson, Scully or Hodge... ????

Going for league? Maybe look at bottomed out midfielders your interested in over the next couple of weeks as Bartel cops a DT semi-final bye. Smith & Hibberd sufficient cover for this week for sure.

GEELONG will continue to monitor Jimmy Bartel for the side-effects of concussion despite the Brownlow medallist receiving the OK from specialists.

AlexIsOnFire

Anyone think he'll play??

I really dont want to trade him....

LF

looks like they might have him covered if he doesn`t play.

Ago97

Hang on,
what happened to the concussion rule???

R.Griffen

He had to pass a test and he must of got the OK

ImSoHood

have an emergency handy

reesbr

Are we keeping or trading him?

I am 50/50

LEV

i have no idea either!! was going to trade in gaj for him.

reesbr

if u dont have Gaj get gaj

Grazz

Well i'l be buggered, just shows never say never. :o

elephants

I'm still trading him to rockliffe. Even though he is playing it must be only as a small forward? He would still be shaken up from such a massive concussion.

unceramonius

he will be a late out. theres no way he will play. cats named selwood as well round 2 after his massive concussion against the saints.

with scott also rotating players.....now is the time to rest bartell.
