Hi guys,

First post!

First year of Supercoach and I think I've done reasonably well so far but I'm looking for help at the pointy end of the season. Seem to be stuck in which direction to go with my trades and how I can maximise my team:

Avg points per round:   1,955
Remaining cap:   $119,000
Trades remaining:   10

I'm not looking for overall just the league win, here is my team:

Deledio,   Goddard,   Gibbs
H.Shaw,   Enright,   Heppell,   Duigan,   [C.Tarrant, Toy, Strauss]

Judd,   Ablett,   Goodes,
Bartel,   Dangerfield,   D.Swallow   [J.Selwood, Crameri, A.Krakouer]

Ottens,   Z.Smith,   [Bailey, O'Keefe]

Pavlich,   Franklin,   N.Riewoldt
J.Watts,   Darling,   Mzungu,   I.Smith   [Matera, C.Richardson, Patrick]

I was thinking of either trading out Crameri/Swallow/Dangerfield/Krakouer (which one?) and upgrading another to a Pendelbury/Swan/Mitchell - any thoughts?
Darling looks shot and my my forwardline looks weak as it is - any suggestions on how i can fix this?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Which Tarrant and Swallow are in your team?

This week I would look at downgrading Tarrant to Golby and upgrading Dangerfield to a proven midfield premium like Pendlebury, Priddis or Boyd then next week downgrade Matera to Karnezis who will be on the bubble and upgrade Watts to Sylvia or ROK, then finally the next week swap Goodes into the forward line with Smith and downgrade either Smith and Krakouer into someone like Callinan and then upgrade Crameri into another midfield premium out of Pendlebury, Priddis and Boyd but that's just my 2 cents worth, by the way that will leave you with 4 trades for finals barring any LTI's which might not be what you want

Sounds ideal, but should I look at moving off some of my Geelong players with the late season byes?

My forwardline is struggling this week with Buddy out, so might upgrade Silvia this week, should i scrap Darling, and go for Silvia? Darlin's value keeps dropping and dropping.

Nick Riewoldt >> Silvia
Darling >> ??? (any suggestions)

Im sitting in top 29% nationally.

League 1 - sitting 2nd/16, 107.36%. league leader is 1st only by 600pts. (win/loss same.)
League 2 - sitting 13th/16, 98.91% - 3wins 7losses, 2wins seperate me from 6th place.

I think league one is OK, it's the 2nd league thats the issue (and this is where alot of the stakes are.) if i can somehow get into the eight then i'd be happy....

I think you are stuck with Nroo and Darling, I think if you do a few other trades your team will be stronger than trying to get rid of those 2 players. This week trade Tarrant to Golby and Matera to Sylvia as this will stop you getting a 0 in the forward line, then next week turn Selwood in to Swan who will be as cheap as you can possible hope for and Otten into Cox who is just about a must have this year and it will fix your ruck problem you would be facing in the sc finals if you keep Otten, the week after trade Crameri for Callinan who will be on the bubble and then trade Bartel into Priddis who is a absolute sc gun.
Which will leave your team looking like this:

Deledio,   Goddard,   Gibbs
H.Shaw,   Enright,   Heppell,   Duigan,   [Golby, Toy, Strauss]

Judd,   Ablett,   Goodes,
Priddis,   Swan, Dangerfield,   [D.Swallow, Callinan, A.Krakouer]

Cox,   Z.Smith,   [Bailey, O'Keefe]

Pavlich,   Franklin,   N.Riewoldt
Sylvia, J.Watts,   Darling,   Mzungu,   [I.Smith, C.Richardson, Patrick]
