M.I.A this week: Goddard, Montagna, Riewoldt, Selwood, Franklin ... and probably Sandilands

all year i had my heart set on picking up Pendles after his second bye, but i don't think i can look passed Gablett at the moment?

so i was thinking trades for this week:

Krak -> Dahlhaus
Heppell (in the mids) -> Gablett

the massive flaw in that plan is i lose my DPP connection between the mids/backs, so if i go ahead with this trade are there any options in the mids i could get in for the connection later on?

what other options are there guys? or do i stick with this plan and try get in a back/mid in the mids later?

please help!

An option for downgrade could be X Clarke as there is talk he could be playing for Brisbane in 1 - 2 weeks so if only wanting the link he may be an option.

of course! thanks mate that would be a great option. i mean good chance he'll probably just re-injure himself, just like every other time, but it's a risk i'm willing to take!

do my other trades sound like good options? is there anything else i should look at doing instead?

You could downgrade Heppell to Golby then trade Selwood to Ablett

Mr Jewells option is probably the more realistic as you will retain Hibberd as the link and this week I would look at switching him and Godard and playing Pup.

i've looked at it and i'm gonna keep Selwood because he's back probably round 17, i play the ladder leader (i'm 2nd) that round and i don't want to have to bring Selwood back in. i like the idea of Heppell to Golby though because i will keep the link, so what if i go

Heppell -> Golby
Krakouer -> Ablett

how do those trades look?

That looks fine as well - Need though now for develop plan for finals how many trades you are going to keep to cover your Geelong and Carlton players. 9 trades at the moment is ok but will probably be down to 7 with a further def upgrade.
