Have been waiting for the Pies bye to finalise my mids. Thought that might do me for a few rounds. Now I am looking at tinkering the MPP's for a while. Am in a very strong league though. Ranked 84. Sitting 10th on the league ladder but only 8 points off top spot. This is my lineup for round 14. Have only 5 trades left but keen to save 3 for LTI issues. $5,900 cash. Any ideas or suggestions are most appreciated.

Backs: Scotland, Gibbs, H.Shaw, Suckling, Martin, Nicoski, Hibberd. ( R.Shaw, Nicholson, Watson)

Mids: Boyd, Pendlebury, Priddis, Harvey, Swan, D.Thomas              ( Heppel, Prestia, Jacobs )

Rucks: Cox, Smith     ( Minson, Derrickx )

Forwards: Sylvia, S.Johnson, Cloke, Chapman, J Roo, Krakoeur, I Smith  ( Franklin, Darling, T Lynch )

In a strong league, youll need at least 4 for finals.  Your carlton and geelong boys will prob have to go if you're not top 4. No sandi or pavlich an issue.  F7 and b7 a bit iffy and 3 coll mids could hurt you as theyll prob get rested one game each at the pointy end of the year

I would look at downgrading R Shaw (as rookies are scoring as well as him) which will get you some extra coin to upgrade players closer to finals

Thanks Piccolo, will be working on your suggestions. In 2 strong leagues and 3 where top 2 is a big chance. The f7 and b7 are intended dpp shuffling when I can.

Good hint ajjewell. Hadn't been on my radar at all. Have just been using him as swing man when moving Gibbs or Scotland into mids to cover gaps.
