I'd imagine last week was just a rest against the Hawks. 

The Hawks had most of their big men injured this season, and especially with Roughy and Renouf both being injured the week prior to the clash.  It would have been a strategic move by McKenna to perhaps take the risk of playing a big man short like they were - although Gorringe played I guess.  It would have been good to see how the game played out if Smith had of played against Bailey.
