Slow response time after making a post

I noticed it especially on some PMs to members.

It's occurred to me in the last hour when I have been sending messages to other users. After clicking Send, it'll take a few minutes to move to the page telling me the message has been sent.

It could have been one of two things. (a) my new ad server has been slow as a dog lately, but you blokes said it wasn't hanging at the ad bit of the page; or (b) my ISP has evidently been having some routing issues lately, which they seem to have fixed up just now.
