Jacobs vs Carlton (AAMI)
Hibberd vs Melbourne (MCG)
Pops vs Freo (MCG)
I reckon you should play Pops :)

If the hawks play tempo footy again, Pops should get a lot of touches along the half back line. Jacobs is seems pretty good at getting 15-20 possessions a week, so it just depends on his disposal efficiency!

Anyway, from those stats jacobs is the clear loser for a flat out comparison, and while defenders do average more against melbourne than freo, Pup's higher average, coupled with Hawthorn's higher defence average overall would indicate he is the winner in this scenario.

However, if hibberd's named in the mids it's a totally new ball game, as teams playing melbourne average 83.17 points per player per game against their midfield.

for me it is a toss up between hibberd and puopolo.  Jacobs is good, but im lucky to be in a position to not consider him for the field.
