Everyone knows when the bye's are coming, if you can't play this game then play put put or something! Spuds!

ok so i can understand where you are coming from but at the same time, you generally have planned for your bye and then your cover is being used else where? i for one whined about the collingwood bye, i really was whining about having to double trade selwood and mundy sideways and still have pendles, swan & adcock riding the pine

put up with it, it's only 1 year like this. kind of a weird year for DT. next year will be a little more normal.

Very weird and difficult year, mate. It's almost as if the fixturing was designed to make picking a DT squad as difficult as possible, especially for Leagues.

Really? I was aiming for top 20k at DT as I normally suck at it but find myself outside the top 4k :o.

I don't like wining about the Byes as I've yet to cop a donut due to them. They add another dimension to the already great fantasy game, so I say it adds more challenge to it. I can see how constant complaining can get on people's nerves but I find it entertaining for Leagues ;D. I wasn't afraid of final team's players as if you start with them, you get the rest of the year to benefit with their scores. Trade right during the season and as you said, you'll have cover.

*Peace Out Pplz.

I'm with you, HP. I planned for this, it's in my thoughts with every trade. I have copped a doh-nut the week I forgot (early in the season). Won't make that mistake again.

I actually think it makes for better trade decisions - how often in the past did you buy someone thinking "what do I do if they don't play next week". Or "how will this work out if they miss a game in the last 4 weeks".

I think we should all be better at this game next year, just for having this experience!

I love the byes because it puts another level of skill in by having to think ahead. The only aspect that is disappointing is not being able to trade in the good carlton, essendon and geelong players in because of the finals byes. I am sure next year we will all think this DT stuff is easy. Its great coming up against a team that has too many players on the bye!!!

LOL Funny thread, you are whining about others whining ROFL love it :)

PS. I love whingin about the byes, especially the multi ones.
