No petrie no smith, what to do?

What are people that werent smart enough and dont have any cover in their rucks doing?

My rucks are Cox,Sandi (derickx,Curnow (port) )

i have 165000 in bank with 16 trades left.

I could downgrade sandi to smith and use the cash to upgrade other areas of my team?

I think ill need to get a ruckman in because the eagles have the rnd 15 bye where i would have no rucks.

Or is Derickx a chance in the tigers line up?

-Sideways trade Derickx or Curnow to Richmond's Andrew Browne and hope he plays for the next month or so

-Sideways trade Sandilands to Mumford or any other ruckman you want

sadly its either downgrade sandi probably smith or upgrade one of your bench guys to smith.  Sandi to smith is a really risky move but if you can use that money to upgrade another player than its isnt too painful. The only problem is in round 15 you might be hurting abit, you might have to take a donut that round.

Yeah but then if i down graded sandi to smith he will atleast play barring injury. I know that ill be using like 2 trades to do this but smith still has cash to make and i could get sandi back after his bye and set up for a run to the finals?

i would think sandi may be back b4 cox has his bye in rnd15 [it will have been 6 weeks since the injury ] sandi's bye is in rnd 16

this is probably the smartest thing to do but it will be painful to double trade for smith when he only cost 10k more than derickx but its what you have to do. Smith wont play every game this season as he is a rookie and you still need to cover the eagles bye.

Im a Richmond supporter and Derickx was always going to find it hard to get games and well Curnow is no hope of getting games. Even if you were backing your rucks not to get injured they still have byes. How did you not start with Smith? Everyone was talking about him pre-season and was always going to get games how did you look past him?

even though i agree with you, i think he knows that so its not very helpful.  Smith still inst that expensive so even though its a bad mistake its not a horrible one. Out of interest how did you cover cox and sandi first bye?

Haha its all good man, i know ive screwed up but ah well thats the point with this, make risks some come off some dont, i dont know how i missed out on smith at start of the season i thought Derickx might have a crack some time soon, and curnow well i just chose him cos he was 80,000 didnt care if he played or not (but guess now it matters haha)

With the cox,sandi bye thier games were in league byes didnt bother covering them, Smith at 244 with a B/E of -18 still looks not bad to fill the void for a while.

Might just have to suck it up and use 2 trades, Sandi > smith then Smith > sandi

instead of sandi to smith and back again can you bench sandi and upgrade someone to smith still use the same amount of trades but then have cover if things go bad.

ie cash cow down and derrick up to smith that way if something else bad happens you are sorted where as if you go sandi to smith to sandi and sandi or cox get rested or injured again your back to square one
