Are many people trading him this week?

Is ditching Harris this week too hasty a move or are other DT'ers flicking him off as well?

I'm desperate for cash to make some defensive upgrades and he's the best cow candidate I've got (also have Stanley but am liking him as my 7th/8th def)
I was planning on downgrading Harris for I.Smith this week but since he's out with soreness I'm thinking about bringing in the untried Mzungu instead (going to be getting him anyway) to give me vital MPP to mids & become crucial 7th reserve mid.
- Then next week getting I'd look at getting in Lynch for Mckernan and maybe straight trading Lower to Adcock or Shaw with some of this cash surplus.

Interested on some opinions, cheers  8)

we can't  know if Mzungu will be a 7th mid yet.....he'll be super underdone and playing catchup all year. If you don't need him this week then I would wait for sure, you can then make an informed decision on Smith v Mzungu

Be Better to see ur whole team to make a good decision because I wouldn't trade Harris yet he's got plenty of cash still to make. U might have better options for a downgrade

Harris breakeven is 27 some more cash there, how desperate are you or do you have an itchy trade finger. Its a long season  ;)

Have 18 trades atm so not too itchy just yet haha

Goddard, Gibbs, Lids, Suckling, Heppel, Puopolo, Hibberd (Stanley, Otten, Lower)

Swan, Pendles, Boyd, Bartel, Mitchell, Grigg  (Harris, Bewick, Jacobs)

Sandi, Cox (Smith, Derickx)

Goodes, Buddy, N. Riewoldt, Sylvia, Knights, Darling, Krak  (Prestia, Mckernan, Richardson)

27k in bank.

1500-something overall. Top 140 league.

Thoughts guys??

I'm thinking of ditching Swallow, despite the fact I know he'll make more money.

I just like the idea of Harris as my permanent 7th midfielder.

have both - and yep, plan is swallow > swan next week (depending on how swanny goes this week and price)  - and keeping harris

think he has the body to go all year, and scoring ok as solid bench cover...

swallow looks good too - but he has just about peaked, and can't see him scoring high enough as a keeper, and too juicy cash option to let sit on the pine....

next week i will need to get rid of either darling or harris to get in ablett or chapman and at this stage im thinking of droping harris instead. For the reason that i have heaps of fwd/mid players in my forward bench so i can simply sub them in and play darling on the field, wheras if a foward is out i cant get a mid out of the line so i dont see much point in having 7th mids unless only a mid is out.

However it will all depend on how i think mzungu will travel as i wouldnt mind having mzungu and harris instead.

id double trade otten and lower this week for a rookie and a prem. only prob u don't have a lot of downgrade options, maybe daye, watson or pederson.

i think u will need harris as a cover for at least up until the pies bye. by then he would have come close to peaking.

Thanks for some of the advice, ended up not trading. Just couldn't justify downgrading any of my bench players, further money too be made on most candidates (Lower, Otten, Harris etc). Plus even If I had of downgraded one of those players I still would have come up short of upgrading to top shelf defender like Adcock or Shaw; would of had to settle with Sam Fisher. He's tempting but not worth a double downgrade imo. Not worth skimping on premiums at the best of times, esp to get in a Saints player....

My opponent traded in Shaw which makes me a tad nervous but he also chose to put Chapman Captain over Swan. Lets hope Swanny breaks a new record against Crows!  8)
