$400k for 5 years of work is just crazy ::). My parents are on pension and get maybe $1000 a fortnight. Yet players can get at least 200k a year for 30 years for just 5 years work is just WTF :o. Way too excessive if you ask me, nobody needs that much if they retire.

52k is more than enough for a single year I believe but 400k a year means almost 8k a week on average :o.

i dont see why they should get payed any pension, the amount of money they earn throughout their career if they play for 5 years should be enough to sustain them at least until they get settled into different employment
