if smith plays im birnging him in this week, and than mzungu and callinan are too tempting so i can have those 3 rotating around the mid and forward bench along with guys like chappy, higgins, didak. I dont think i can fit in lynch, sure he will make money but i probably wont have enough trades to trade him out.

bringing the boy in. they will blood youth as much as they can throughout the year (what more can they do?!)
plus a tiny breakeven will see him rocket up in price :D

are you planning on selling him?, the guys i bring in now will stay in my team all season, un less i get really lucky with injury. I think guys like mzungu have better job security so i wll be getting them in instead. We have seen alot of players from GC getting rested and sometimes they dont come back. Prestia looked pretty good early on, same with toy and they are no longer in the team.

my plan does involve ditching a forward rookie in about a month but we'll see how we go :)

purely out of curiosity, who was he matched up against?

and ftr, myself, I can see GC seriously lifting their game in the latter part of the season once their rookies have a few more games under their belts, probably won't make the 8, but imo could come quite close.

:-X

There, I've said it and called it, now they can prove it :P
get down the TAB ziplock and put $20 on them finishing top 10! If you're right you will be revered as a hero. I'd give you good odds on that bet....

to me lynch will be better than mzungu and callinan
callinan may be 28 but he was recruited because he was a champion in the sanfl with centrals and he filled the position that crows needed. he is not a great dter but a good footballer yes
mzungu did have great preseason form but at fremantle i belive it wont be consisitent. you have seen with all their other players bar mundy that they score high when they win but terrible when they lose.
lynch has proven that he can score in a winning game and a losing game

Yeah but Gold coast were competitive against Crows, I dont see that happening against the top 6 or so clubs.

I'm  more than happy to bring him in and trade him out in 4-5 weeks and take a neat $150-200k for an upgrade.

That is precisely what I have been saving my trades for.

Grazz

Plenty of time to bring him in and make money for a final premium upgrade or if he avg's 75-80
could be worth keeping for cover all year. I have 18 trades left and see him purely as a cash cow
at pressent untill he can show me otherwise. I agree by the end of the year the youngens at GC
will be starting to struggle but if he can put on a 150k+ that will do me, i expect that to take about
7-8 games. That will be around 18-19 which is ideal as you can then start looking for an upgrade
to a prem fwd assuming he plays every game untill then he could be worth more if he can maintain
a decent avg. Those that dont get him i can only assume are in trade trouble and need to be more
sure of who they trade in which is fair enough but they will miss out on cash cash cash which makes
this competition go round.
