Yeh upgrade him
Keep Swallow at least until his price maxes out
You'll need him as backup all year so find another upgrade

This week I'm tempted to upgrade Swallow to a premium but that will mean having one of Hibberd, Smith, Iles or Prestia on the field and the rest on the bench (I downgraded Harris last week). Do you reckon I'd be ok without Harris and Swallow as useful backups?

Keeping swallow until round 13 then bang him up to pendles.

i am keeping swallow as a good back up should play most games.

pretty happy with scores so far
58   80   96   81   78   75   101

i'd be happy with all to cover a donut

Swallow maybe but probably not.

I think in your ideal finals team you only have 1 or 2 rookies left, with the rest upgraded at some point. I think ahead of Swallow are Libba, maybe Heppell and looking to see if Darling and Zac Smith can see the season out. There are probably others.

+1

but round 11, not round 13 and either one of Swallow, Harris or Krakouer  8)

So not really much of a +1 at all  :-\

I think with dual position being utilised and 3 on the DEF/MID/FOR bench, you don't need permanent bench keepers you should always have enough to fill your starting spots. That being said, David Swallow has just scored a 100 and now has a bye... should come back and go BANG and I wouldn't be surprised to see his price go past the $350k barrier. For that reason I'll be keeping him for the time being, but as someone suggested Swallow -> Pendlebury after Collingwood's 2nd bye is looking like the strategy.
