but with jolly hardly playin im thinkin of getting rid of jolly for a cheap ruckmen that is playin and puttin smith as my 2nd ruck who has put together some big scores and is avergin a reasonble 71

As far as a good ruck for DT he's good...

However I think he's pretty overrated in terms of being a ruckman...

Sure he's a good player as far as a 206 cm midfielder goes, in that regard he is gun. However in the pure essence of being a ruckman I think he's pretty ordinary.

Matthew "With the lot" Leunberger smashed him in the hitouts last week 52-17 plus obviously Mitch Clark would have got a few hit outs too.

Only 17 hit outs for an entire game where he was the ruckman for nearly the whole game? That's just over 4 hit outs a quarter?  :-\

not that risky, i traded jolly out for the cheapest ruck a few weeks ago and moved smith into the 2nd ruck spot. the move went ok with all the cash i made a rookie into gun.

i have smith as my 2nd ruck, but thats because i am playing petrie in my fwds......

for me, smith as 2nd ruck is scoring better than knights/matera/prestia in my fwds, so petrie in fwds is a better option!
