I don't know what moot means, sorry :)

I might get heater after his second bye but I am not happy with him. I'd much prefer Rawlings.

At least I'll get to look forward to saying...

"ele I told you so"

:P

I'm going Grimes > Jacobs... I don't want to use a second trade just to get enough $ for Shaw/Rawlings etc.

consider this:
HEATH SHAW IN THE PAST: tagged and consequently fails
HEATH SHAW NOW: no different, still inconsistent ranging from 65 to 116 already
as collingwood are a great team, he's going to get a better and better tag the better he plays and will decline in average and price in a large amount towards the end of the season, in my opinion.
However due to the absolute GUNS in the backline it seems there are no better options unless you like doubling up on the boys that give you the blues.

I've boiled it down to the same decision this week. Such a tough one but you do feel like Heath Shaw is a different man... how much do you back that feeling compared to years of history? Rawlings on the other hand always flys under the rader, too much of an unattractive player to get picked at the start but consistently produces the goods. He's sure to score 80+ v Melbourne and North have a decent run of fixtures the next month against teams you'd expect to finish in the bottom 8.

But then there's the round 21 QF bye...

So tough. If Ben Jacobs gets picked I might just select him to spare myself the decision as I need to get in a DEF/MID at some point.
