It's worth doing anything to avoid a donut.  Trade to the best player you can afford.

Agree with the first part of the statement, disagree with the second part. For example you're better off going libba--> Illes/wallis rather than straight swapping him for another mid 200k player.

Yes, Iles, Wallis or Hibbard are your choices, I would go Iles as he has the best JS out of them and should be a more solid scorer.

yeah im in exactly the same boat, need to avoid a donut, leaning towards hibberd, will wait and see if he's named, if he's not, is iles really the better choice? i need cover, not fussed how quickly they go up...

It's definately worth it. I could keep Libba and avoid a donut but I'm still trading him out for cash. Bringing in Iles but that's because I already have Hibberd.
