2nd, 3rd, 4th opinions needed

Hey guys, been doing some research and considering a pretty strong trade option

Duigan---> Puopolo/whoever debuts, then:

Ward-----> Mitchell

Mid atm: Swan, Boyd, Bartel, Grigg, Curnow, Ward (Hibberd, Bewick, Harris)

With Ward's b/e at 80 against Sydney this wk combined with his poor second half fade-outs it seems unlikely he'll reach it. Mitchell is coming off a bye, lowish b/e (100) averaging 119, versing Port and has the Gold Coast to play twice (one during DT grand final). I can only make the trade work this week as finances will just allow it. Have 22 trades btw.

Thoughts on this move? I feel it will have my mid basically set for the coming league rounds (on top and want to stay there)

looks pretty good trade mitchell has been really good i have had him from the start.

I like the look of mitchell. Great draw for finals as well. I'd be looking at dropping him for jacobs probably.

Yeh Mitchell looks the goods this year and the fact he's got to play GC twice is very tantalizing indeed..

-@ Ziplock; can't get Jacobs, puts me like $900 short of mitchell :'( I've got a fair amount of cover down back with Lower & Stanley so
the rookie doesn't have to have to be cream of the crop & could still get Jacobs in another mid/def downgrade further down the track i guess.

- Is getting rid of Ward this early seem justified? He's still made around 40k to aid this premo trade. Done his job to an extent..

I'd call it justified, seems on the downslope atm in any case.

Personally, I think I'll drop him this week.

I was really hoping Ward would get himself up to around the 320/330k mark with a low 80's average but atm he doesn't seem to be getting near the footy often enough. Unless he gets consistent tackles, seems due for scores around 50-75 range. A bit of a let down really... Mitchell will be a handy addition, should add anywhere from 30-50 points more per round hopefully :)

Any others looking to offload Ward this week??

me. Downgrading him for Illes or Wallis (Leaning to Illes), then upgrading duigan to enright (even though I think enright will have a sub 80 score this week lol).
