Do you think its wise to be trading out the likes of Curnow and Heppell in the next few weeks with both awaiting their first bye? I've read a few people suggesting they might keep one or both for the rest of the season, but myself personally am looking to bring in the likes of pendle, ablett, shaw, newman ect asap, especially with both Carlton and Essendon having their final bye in round 23 and 24.

So is it to soon to be trading them out in the coming 1-3 weeks? When do you plan on trading them and who for??

too early, let them peak, that's why we put them into our teams in the first place! :D

how many more weeks would you be thinking?

Ziplock

several with their scoring potential, and they have their first byes coming up... so, the call is if you want to offload before bye, or get a little more moolah.

well i personally think heppell is scoring quite nicely atm, he's averaging what a good 7th defender should be averaging. he's a good player and can make you at least another 60k!! wait perhaps 5-6? (let him be one of the last to upgrade)

and for curnow, he's destroying it atm, barlow-like scoring and personally i like the way he plays. he's averaging 97 and he'll earn another 100k. it makes him the perfect candidate for a straight swap instead of using two. you save a trade whilst keep earning 100's, win win :D

Both are keepers at this stage in time.

Curnow is only a bench keeper for mine (if I had him)

You want your 6th mid averaging 100+, well really 105+ the lowest I want my 6th mid to average is 108 :o

So unless you can see Curnow averaging those numbers I wouldn't look at him as a keeper.

I'm saying you should keep them until they top out.

I'm gonna be upgrading my other rookie mids before I upgrade Curnow. Will look at how he goes over the next month or two but he is close to being consistent and prolific enough to be a keeper imo.
