Just wanting to get everyone's thoughts on players like D.Martin and Redden and Rockcliff looks like there all averagin well this season, and everyone seems so keen to trade them in.... which is crazy to me 2 of them playing in a lower rank team and Martin yes looking good but second year player won't finish season well?? what's everyone's thoughts or am i just missing the boat???

There are no hard rules to trading, like this 2nd year rule stuff people are projecting.

If you had Martin, Redden, and Rockliff at the start of the year, then kudos to you.

For those planning on trading them in, they are risky trades that backfire or pay off.  IMO, Martin is still underpriced.  Redden averages 8-9 tackles a game, and is a monster tackler.

The reason why going for 2nd year or even 3rd year players is a risk, is often there is not a lot of data for us to work with.  The question still remains whether you think they can maintain their current form, will they plateau as the year goes on?

Fallen Premiums like Selwood/Montagna, at least we know their scoring history, and they have a high chance of bouncing back.

In response to your question, no, you are not missing the boat if you don't trade these guys in.  They are high risk picks with high rewards.
