Im having a hard time..  I wanna push my way up the rankings by trading my rooks, and getting in some guns, but they haven't matured fully  >:(

Im even having trouble thinking about downgrades.  I have Harris/Swallow and Bewick that I can downgrade to Wallis.  But I'm not entirely certain about Wallis and his spot in the team.  The bulldogs have already made room for Libba..  Will he get the chop when some dogs return, or become the dreaded sub?

Or Should I turn Swallow into Redden who has roughly the same BE, but an average 40 points higher!  Hmm, the decisions.

Has anyone else found it hard to try and figure out when to milk your rookies..  Is it 100k and that's good enough type thing, or are you waiting until max profits (but risk the chance of a good downgrade target)...

thats why your 1st team picked at the start of the year is getting really really important as each year passes, i say keep turning over the kids while they last, get a heap of money then trade trade trade

You need to have a finished team in place, e.g What you want your team too look like finished. With a lot of prem players  ;)

So once you have worked that out you can then see how much $$ you require to get them. Most people will keep rookies until they have a B/E which they feel the player can't make. Then Trade them out.

However sometimes you can miss out on the next lot of good Rookies. I try to use the B/E rule however if I can get the prem player I am after and pick up a nice rookie then I pull the trigger. sure I'll miss out on a few extra $$$ but once you have the prem player you are set!

Hope that helps!  ;D
