i really want to get in montagna this week and im thinking of upgrading ward or anthony this week. Ward was never a keeper and anthony doesnt apear to be going very well and hasnt even cracked 95 this year and thats what i wanted him to average.

to do this i need to downgrade one of my forwards or backs,

they are Duigan, Otten, Stanley, Tapscott, Darling, Matera.

I have didak stuck in my mids so i would like a fwd/mid link so i can put him down there. If i downgrade one of my forwards i would pick up mzungu and swap him with dids into my mid.

However as mzunugu isnt looking lilke getting a game anytime soon i was thinking of getting in jacobs or hibberd for duigan. For the reason he should go up less than 15k this week and anthony could less that this week with another low score. Also duigan has the bye the week after so he would only be playing one more game.

the plan is the week after to downgrade a forward if i drop duigan this week to get in mzungu
or if i get in mzunug this week for a forward to get in hibberd/jacobs for duigan the week after.
than use that money to upgrade ward into selwood.

I also want to get Montagna in, however can't see how i'm going to do it.

If you can afford it by downgrading Duigan then i think it is a good move.

My plan is to go Duigan to Hibberd as soon as the young bomber is on the cusp.

However you could do the move now, as long as you have sufficient cover for this multi-bye round.

Unfortunately I don't think I can afford to get Montagna even if I do downgrade Duigan this week so i might have to wait.

With Heppell as a possible keeper having Hibberd as well to switch between def and mid will be handy.

i have stanle and toy on the bench this week so i can afford to get hibberd even if he doesn't play. Assuming higgins plays if i downgrade tap to mzunug than didak will cover him.

the plan is to get mzungu and jacob/hibberd in my mids over the next 3 weeks than have hibberd/jacobs in the back.

i`m just hanging out for the teams to come out i`m either going to be well covered this week or full of donuts.if the teams go the right way i can do the trades i want if they don`t well i will just cop it and look to the league game next round.

I like bringing Mzungu is even though it is a bit risky, but if for a pure mid/fwd link what about Callinan?

Injured indefinitely ? Is he meant to come back before Mz or does indefinitely mean there is no rough idea?

When is Callinan coming back? You pick up an extra 12k if you get Callinan over Mzungu :)

EDIT: Didn't really read everything you said but I read (correct me if I'm wrong) Duigan > Mzungu ?? mfw ???

This sounds like a plan as well - i thought Callinan was more likely to play before Mzungu - don't quote me on it though.

no not duigan to mzunug, i meant if downgrade duigan this week i will be getting mzungu in 2 weeks time and vice versa if i get mzungu this wek i get jacobs in 2 weeks. Jacobs looks like playing this week and im super tempted to start him but with the chance of being a sub high i think i might just get him in and play stanley (he sint likely to be completely ouscored by duigan and tags should chop anthony)

its just i need to do the trade this week as im getting in enright or selwood the week after.

at this stage im happy keeping him on the bench for a while, he will be my 3rd mid behing harris and bewick and thats soon to be harris and jacobs. So essentially i will have harris and heepel,jacobs,hibberd above him so im not too woried. If im getting a fwd/mid than it will be mzunug but honestly i only need it for the DPP to get rid of didak, after the bye rounds are finsished i will have plenty of cover, as most of my mids have had the bye already.

I'd keep Anthony over Ward, although I would upgrade Anthony down the track if he doesn't pick it up in the coming weeks.

I am going to wait a week and hope Monty doesn't go up by more than Duigan's price rise. Then i might be able to go Duigan --> Hibberd and Foley ---> Montagna. Currently I am about 10K short.

i cant afford that, the plan was to go anthony to tags this week and ward to selwood next week. Anthony just doenst look like he is the major ball winner anymore, it used to be a little bit like swan or ablett if he was hanging around the ball normally he would get passed to for the link, but it looks like swallow is doing that role abit more these days. Also he isnt getitng the cheap +6 anymore asi dont think he is marking it anywhere near as much as last year.

Im happy with my mids after these trades they look nearly set with

Swan, Boyds, Sewlood, Bartel. Montagna, Curnow and i plan on going curnow to hodge/pendles/gaz at some stage.

jacobs is not listed but hibberd is in the centre so im going duigan to hibberd and anthony to tags.

actually now that otten is out do you think i drop him for hibberd. Duigan has the bye coming up so i might have to have him when he has the bye.

It all comes down to will otten come back and whats wrong and will stanley outscore duigan.
