is it too early to call Everitt a dud pick?
hell no! 125 then 25 and subbed!
fact is, pre season he was ripping it up playing off the lucrative hbf. then as soon as the season starts he is at fullback! bs

roo boys!

Cotchin, Higgins, Dangerfield & Martin are all ones to look at i reckon
Do you reckon Bob Murphy is a good idea?

Not convinced yet, though meow meow will say otherwise.  I would be more inclined to go higgins/jroo at this stage.
Hmm, I was considering getting them in. And Fyfe.

charliesheen

i was strongly considering fyfe/dawes at round 2 but didn't have the balls to sideways trade

Fyfe averages 6 more disposals a game than dawes
Dawes averages close to 3 goals a game, Fyfe is 1 goal a game
Dawes averages close to 3 CM a game
Fyfe and Dawes both average 4 tackles a game
Fyfe has 3 clearances a game
Dawes has close to 3 FF / game.

rest of stats are pretty similar.  fyfe is ahead in terms of sc score at this stage due to ridicilous score this round.

updated, yarran is almost a keeper now.
I hope so! 3 tons in a row after that tragic round 1 effort, 1 against Collingwood as well.
With the 32 out of his rolling should go up a fair bit now :)

Went with 4 mid pricers (including Krak) up forward and looking like Higgo and Yaz will pay off, Danger and Krak not so much D:

Who knows though.

Updated some of the averages to date.

My summary

With the full press, defenders are suffering pretty badly in Supercoach.  Strangely enough, this has not seemed to have impacted midfielders or forwards.

Personally, I think Adcock should come out as one of top defenders, IF he stays injury free, and assuming he continues to push into the midfield.  Adcock has scored well with Drummond in the team in the past so I don't see this as a concern.  Staker injured I think has meant more responsibility for Adcock.

Everitt is a dud.

Higgins, I put in a similar position as Adcock, and should average 90-100 if he stays injury free.

Rob Murphy, showed he cannot handle a tag against Freo.  However, I think he should be able to still maintain his previous years average, though not improve on it.

Fyfe has had an incredible start to the year.  He does everything that is conducive to SC scoring.  Ranks highly in contested possessions, ranks highly in tackles, ranks highly in kick/hand ball ratios and disposals, and he kicks goals.  Looks very appealing, though has not been tagged yet.

Dawes is another appealing option.  He gets a LOT of Free Fors, he tackles, gets a lot of contested possesions, and still averages about 15 disposals a game, and 2.5 goals.

Robbie Gray's injuries still remain a concern

Dangerfield continually looks like he is going to break out, but does not.

McEvoy/Warnock, are doing their jobs consistently, but you are unlikely to see any dominant SC performances.

Foley continues to improve each round.

Cotchin, has shown that his preseason form was no luck.  Should average close to 105 this year I think.  Anyone, who had him at round 1 has a good pick.

D. Zaha, I think has been pumped up far too much preseason, and this is starting to show in his average.

M. Hurley, when Essendon are losing, you are going to see some inconsistent scores.

D. Martin, great pick for anyone who had him before round 1 and shows huge potential.  If he continues to push forward and kick goals, expect further Supercoach big scores.

C. Yarran seems to be Carltons go to man in defense, should score very nicely, though IMO, looks more likely to be an upgraded than an end of year keeper.
