Thoughts about Fyfe

As you are all probably aware - I am a big Fyfey fan.  I would also like to make it clear that if you haven't already got Fyfey then he may not be worth jumping on --- I repeat -- he may not be worth jumping on.

I took the risk at the beginning of the season and so far it is paying off.  I brought him in thinking that he will have a good start to the season and then I would look to upgrade him to a fallen premium.  At the moment he is ripping it up but its still to be seen if he can continue this for a sustained period of time.  I love this kid no matter what, even if he scores 10.

You need to keep in mind that this is only his second year and he is still very skinny and raw.   If you do decide to trade him in to your squad then don't whinge and moan if he scores badly.  I stick by with what I said that it is a risk to bring him in and don't blame me for whatever happens.

For those that took the risk and got him in before round 1 - we are having a win and this is for you

FYFEY!!! (patent pending :P)

Fyfe is a pretty cool guy, eh scores well in DT and doesn't afraid anything...

But seriously, there's so many players I have the ability to jump on but am worried, are they just 3/4 game pretenders...

Being a Lions supporter I sorta want 1 Lion in my team...

but Fyfey sorta looks the good, I do want to wait a week or two to see how he goes first, along with Embley, Watson, Rockliff, Redden...

Like you said, can fyfe/my other players I'm looking at sustain it, sure they look the goods, but do I pay $10-20k more for re-assurance or jump now.

Players like fyfe are confusing, annoying, difficult to deal with and why DT is so entertaining and complex at times.

I should have also mentioned that Freo have 1 more game then a bye (round 6)

yeh i think ill probly bring pav in after their bye although if fyfe has another big game this week he could be edging in front of pav. love watching both of them play and i like having those sort of players in your team :D

Bluke

I would have loved to have been on the F-train from day one. Unfortunately his price is far to high now and represents to greater a risk for my team. I would caution anyone thinking about selecting him, it is very unlikely he will be a keeper this year, instead he is a very very good Cow.

Next year though... lock

Chopps

damn missed that boat, cant get him now 2nd year player two risky, good call to get on him early Valk hope he continues this good run for ya

BGK

I am so happy I listened to the hype in the pre season with him getting more midfield time. He has been a very very good buy. At this rate he could just about be a straight swap for anyone.

Have you seen who Freo are playing in 7/8/9?

Fyfe is cheap.

In order

Richmond, Eagles, Port - all away games though (even though the Derby is at Subi, it is the E-Girls home game)

Fyfey is the poor man's Dawes atm.  Both reasonable picks in my eyes, whether you go them at the beginning of the year, or if you want them this round.

Haha. He is skinny and raw. I get so worried he's going to break everytime he has the ball :P
