Currently have Cox, with Hale, Petrie and Smith. I know i made a big mistake now and am not sure what to do. Need to get sandi sooner rather than later, so maybe this week or next, go hale down to a no namer then upgrade petrie to sandi and keep smith at a solid 3rd ruck for the rest of the year. He looks solid and will play most games (only need the ones where sandi and cox have byes or injured). Do people reckon do it this week with sandi b/e 105 and hale b/e of 85, petrie b/e of 45. But sandi has a bye in round 6. What should i do? leaning towards doing it.

Cardinal sin starting without Sandi! You'll burn two trades but seeing as though it's for a keeper should be all good, IMO.

My advice is wait till next week as Freo have a bye and Petrie is due for a price rise

If it were me i would think of downgrading hale this week so he doesnt lose money and than after round 6 go petrie to sandi

So glad I started with Sandi as I wasn't going to to begin with.  I was going to start with Cox and Jolly, haha.  Worked out for me in the end though as my two ruckman are averaging 100+ so far, so you can't ask for much more than that from the two big men.

Yeah - it's one of my biggest mistakes of the year as well (had bad luck with Foley, Jwoldt, and sellwoods first match) by starting with Jolley and Cox.  Was hoping Jolley would got up in $$ while Sandi went down and then bring the big man in after Freo's bye.  Was hoping (like allot of people) for Jolley to average more than 60!  was hoping for more like 85.  Ohh well it happened now - just have to make the best out of the situation.

It's got me thinking that why not throw the dice and bring in the mummy for something different?  He seems to be getting better and better - but he is no Sandi ......

If I were you (like others have already said) is to upgrade after a bye - and make some cash in the mean time.

I got lucky at the start of the year and took a punt on Daniel Gorringe as my 4th ruck behind Sandi, Cox and Smith.

He will hopefully play his 3rd game this weekend. BE = 1. But who knows how many games he will play

I'm pretty happy, in my league I'm the only person who started with the sandi cox combo, everyone else went sandi/cox/ryder + petrie/hale

yeah, we're pretty poorly ranked lol. My second league is pretty intense though :P

I actually may have over embellished, I'll go check now how many have cox + sandi.

yeah 1 other person has cox + sandi... but he traded cox in for mumford like just before rd 3 :P
