just looking for some feedback. basically, i selected my team based on flexibility, i have dpp across all lines so cover for byes isnt an issue (krak, goodes, prestia, j tippett, petrie, hibberd, heppell, gibbs, god). given that i wont cop any donuts i reckon that i can put a team together from week to week that will score well enough to win most league games in my leagues.

I haven't traded yet at all. prob wont for the next couple of weeks barring injuries. ill upgrade rookies as prices fluctuate. i aim to keep in dpp players to avoid the need to trade unnecessarily. players such as hibberd and j tippett prob will stay in my team even though they havent played yet (perhaps unlikley to??) just so i can keep dpp between lines to cover byes as required.

given the increased amount of trades this year, im wondering if im not making the most of the available trades. does anyone see that there is anything wrong with not using all your trades early/sitting on your trades? i dont mind if you pick holes in my thinking. interested to hear what ppl have to say. cheers

sounds good. you selected the side obviously so you do not need to trade during byes.
if it is scoring well enough to make your finals don't waver.

i believe we need 6 - 8 trades ( dependng on team strength ) for finals this year to cover trades + injury.

that leaves 18 trades to bring in you prem's,downgrade rook's and cover injury

my side is similar  except i had to burn 2 trades cleaning up mistakes before rnd 3

just keep an eye on the top couple of teams in your league. if they have nailed their team early and keep
getting stronger you will at least try to keep around their mark come finals time
