Hi guys,
I am considering the Foley --> Curnow trade (already have Libba), and am wondering if I should make another trade to upgrade someone.
All my rookies are playing (apart from the rucks, but I have Petrie as a backup for Cox and Sandi and it’s a waste upgrading my ruck bench) and doing reasonably well.
So then should I just make the one trade and keep the cash to buy a fallen premium in the next couple of weeks, or should I try buy another cash cow, like Tapscott or a mid-priced player who will go up in price like Shuey or try go for a gun like Enright.
Team
Def: Gibbs, Deledio, Goddard Broughton, Grimes, Otten, Toy, Stanley, Lower, Duigan
Mid: Swan, Boyd, Selwood, Foley, Liberatore, Harris, Swallow, Heppell, Prestia
Ruc: Sandilands, Cox, Tippett, Bathie
For: Pavlich, Goodes, Riewoldt, Franklin, Knights, Petrie, Richardson, Darling, Krakouer, Matera
I am thinking maybe I could get another gun in midfield, but who do I upgrade?
Or if I look for a gun elsewhere who do I get? There seems to be a shortage of really premium defenders and forwards this year (well if you take into account who I already have).
Or should I  just keep Foley?

You could hold onto foley. Solid team..

Otherwise I would only do the single trade Foley -> Curnow

Pocket the cash and then upgrade a cow to a fallen premium later in the year.

I'd just stick to the one trade mate.  Your mids aren't needed to be upgraded, they haven't earnt you anything yet.. so that'd be a waste.

As for choosing which defender and forwards to target - I usually wait a few rounds before deciding which players are consistent (providing who they are versing) and legit.

Your pretty solid, another option is to trade in Zac Smith to earn you money on the pine/ provide you more cover if you want to upgrade petrie later on.  Could be a wise move or a waste.. who knows.
