ok - so should i be working on plan 1 - or plan 2 ??

plan 1:    trade foley > curnow or libba and then upgrade Palmer to Swan - use all my cash

rationalle - foley was only ever going to be a cash cow - and just not doing it, so time to trade now or never, plus Palmer giving me the shiets, poor TOG and seems unloved by coach - and upgrade to swan gives me locked in perm captain that is tearing it up.

plan 2:    trade foley > curnow and trade Palmer > libba - make a heap of cash, and figure out how to get swann later.

rationalle - foley and palmer still have to go I think - but since I have boyd, he should get heaps this week against  GC, so not having swann might not hurt too much this week - cash made by both libba and curnow will be super handy, and makes swann + other upgrades even more achievable.
Swan so high priced, that even if he smashes out another 150, his price won't move that much anyway - so could get him next week if I wanted to anyway with the cash that I would have left.

ok - so what advice ??  Plan 1 or plan 2  ??

I'd want swan asap. He is premier player of the comp and boy can he run he's almost untagable especially with the new interchange rule.

On Palmer he is loved but comin back from a knee obviously only being subbed cause e hasn't got enough fitness. However when he has been on he has racked it up so I would trade him just yet. If he manages a few good scores and has plenty of game time I'll look to bring him in.

I'd go option 3 downgrade foley to either (prob libba) toss a coin if u must.

The biggest Q on Swan is : "can it wait 'til after the first bye?" You'll need to decide that for yourself. It may depend on whether you do overall or league, given that R 4/5/6 give plenty of looks, and plenty of price changes.

For mine, "use all my cash" vs. "make a heap of cash" doesn't matter much, it's what you do when you've got it that matters.

Plan 1. I am getting Swan this week before his price rise. Wish I got him to start.

If you don't have Swan, I PITY THE FOOL. He is a beast of a player and racks up HUGE stats every game; averaging 150 so far this season, racked up 18 disposals in the second quarter last week. Such a gun. I highly reccomend getting him, although you shoulda already had him.

His BE is just 83, meaning if eh smashes it again he will go up in price EVEN MORE.

ok - so sounds like my original plan 1 is definately the concensus - and what i had originally planned until the greedy cash geenie  sat on my shoulder....

Jukes - where did you get BE's ??   swann only 83?? - so wonder how much his price goes up when he bashes out another 140 ?

Plan 1, good plan indeed. Libba and Swan in.

Jukes

If you have the assistant coach all you need to do is click on the player names in your team and up comes the stats centre, has the BE right up the top.

Plan 3) For me.

Foley to Libba. Hold on Palmer

Find the cash to get swan else where. If you cant, then stick to your plan and get him in after bye. Palmer will ton it up this week, just you watch my son.

QuoteHarvey said midfielder Rhys Palmer would be in the starting 21 this week after he was subbed out of the round one win over Brisbane and then played as the starting substitute against Geelong last week.

Palmer had to complete a training session after the game on Patersons Stadium to make up for his lack of ground time.

Against my better judgement I've decided to share this snippet of info with you all. If I were Valk I would have let it slip through the cracks ;) trade trade trade!
