swap gibbs into the backline and trade hibberd.

This is by far your best option!!!!

be stupid to keep a rookie that hasn't played and trade another thats playing. This way you keep all your playing rookies and get the man you want... then in about rd 7 when Hibberd is on the bubble trade Savage to him.

That would leave me 2 doughnuts in round 4. Can't afford that. I'm now 'unsold' on Libba  :P and considering putting Gibbs into the backline and trading Hibberd for Curnow or just leaving it as is and hoping Hibberd gets a run soon

Hes still iinjured and hasn't even played a game in the VFL... you maybe hoping for a while

Footy God

Why are you trading? No need to get Libba (one good game) and Curnow (played two weak teams).....

I think you can justify bringing in a cash cow like libba if 1) You have a mid pricer not performing eg foley... Or if you have a rookie not playing eg.. hibberd....

Totally agree with this. If you want to trade Hibberd for Libba, but wait till team lists on thursday

De-Swallow your side for Libba. Pre-season and first game suggest much over 60 a game is beyond him. Rubbish at his price. But Libba should make a wad of cash, so worth pocketing the 70K odd for the trade and cashing in on the price rise. Double ca-ching.
