Slap

alot of the other threads are shower, so its still a question on everyones lips.  often people are looking for more than just "libba" or "curnow" - but more of an explanation why.

Sorry I cant help with this. I haven't seen libba play.  But I've seen Curnow twice and he looked at home.

Hahaha, made my day.

Um.....depends on if you can survive the round 4 bye with Libba. Im not going either as I dont have a lot of faith in both for differnet reasons.

Libba-scoring wise, may average 75-80 max, not worht a trade
Curnow-scoring wise, I think his average will drop against harder opponents. JS low as well imo if his form drops off

+1 with everything here. except the bold section

Definately an argument can be made to drop JPK or Foley to one of these two. Or a rookie who isnt playing.

Libbas JS better IMO so a better choice. Eade likes the kid, the fans like the kid, the media like the kid. He's even been nicknamed tommy gun.

Whats not to like?

Probably a bit harsh, but do agree with the main point - it's pretty frustrating having multiple posts about players/similar trades.

Sorry, I meant tin my situation. I have Bewick, Swallow and Savage to potentially trade to Libba.

Libba will probably average 10 more than Savage, Savage had a poor game last weke and still knocked up 61. He could quite easily knock up a 90 against the Tigers this week. Far too risky to waste a trade.

If you have somoene like Foley/Hibberd it's a different situation.

Bluke

You're right, in your situation I wouldnt trade for him either.

i don't think you should think of richmond as an easy opponent - they probably should have beaten carlton and played some EXTREMELY good football against the saints without their best player. obv not the hardest team but a 100 against a team finishing 8-12th is pretty solid.
