should i keep hibberd so i can link DEF with MID or trade him out for libba. I feel that i'll be missing out on huge money increase from libba but the byes will hurt me without the DPP......

what should I do?

I have the same problem, so I think I might hold onto Hibberd.  If I was to bring in Libba (or Curnow for that matter) I'd be trading out Atley personally.

I'm keeping Hibberd for that switch hit factor. An early pre season strategic plan I had was to have Xavier Clarke facilitate the same type of role, not really care if he was going to play or not as that 10th back/9th mid but just be there to MPP around with. Planning changed when Xavier went down but the kicker with Hibberd is he may actually play substantial TOG for me at some stage and earn some coin ;D
Atley however did seem a little lost in the NAB but did the right things when asked to. He seems a diligent soldier who will gel into a instinctive player but at a slower rate than what Libba has obviously displayed, Atley to Libba is a smart move.

Get ridda Swallow, not only makes you almost 70k instantly, but Libba's value will go flying up so it's a double cash injection. Swallow doesn't seem if he can get above 60 a week anyway. Not good enough at his price. Keep Hibberd for the switch, not only did the Bombers have a loss but they have a few injuries now. Should be in this week.

Swallows first ever game and his team got belted with only one ton from the whole of his team. Add to that playing against one of the best midfields in the game. He will be a gun, just you wait.

your just really pessimistic dude. You paid for a 'premium' rookie in swallow, keep him. I also have hibberd and have been keen to trade him since sunday....im now done a full swing and def keeping him. He will play at some stage and unless you have 0 bench cover i would keep him as a link (thats what im doing), yes libba is a good get but if you have another W.dog in your mid when their bye comes you could struggle cover if your rookies dont get named.

hibberd IS valuable to me ,as i want rookie mpp's for mid/for and mid /back. extremely handy for later on. i was actually thinking myself to go swallow >>> libba, but i really do think swallow will get better
