It should be pointed out that, that Fox article at this stage is pure conjecture.

Just because he has gone to see the same surgen who worked on his other elbow, doesnt mean he needs a complete reconstruction. It is possible that Beau wants the best possible doctor to do the job on his left elbow, a doctor who knows the patient. Untill I see an official release from the Eagles I will remain sceptical.

All it says is that "reports circulate" which could mean anything, especially when you consider the quality of the AFL media. They are gossip and rumor mongers and could be a simple case of chinese whispers.

Yea I actually got a text from a mate about this before you posted so I'm glad u bought it to our collective attentions.

Still, I live in hope he returns this season. Such an important player, for me more important than Lecras.

boo-yaa

i'd take the all austrlian forward over an injury prone back personally.

QuoteBut Nisbett was confident Waters would be back this year.

"We won't know the extent of the injury until the surgeon has a look inside and we have our fingers crossed for Beau because he's had enough injury in his time," Nisbett said.

"We are really positive about him having the operation and getting ready for the latter part of the season.
"He is pretty shattered, but he's also a really positive man. He knows that he has to get this operation done and he'll be back as soon as possible."

like i said. pure conjecture that more than likely eminated from the out of touch (from WA) melbourne football media.
