I have a couple of options with Petrie this week. I can either leave him in my forwards to play. I'll be taking of knights due to bye.

Or I can dpp Hale down to my forwards, Petrie to ruck. I was then thinking of benching Hale and maybe play Matera in his spot. Just wanted some thoughts on this. Hale did score a 53 but i'm thinking maybe Matera can produce better then that this week??

Also thinking of playing Harris insted of Folay this week, has anyone heard if he has recovered from gastro??

Thanks for everyones thoughts!

Decisions decisions....I would play hale against melb could really stretch the dees defence and bag some goals. Matera could be an unknown in his 1st game.

Russ dogga

I would have matera on, think he has more potential then Hale for a higher score

I did think that Hale could cause some head aches for Melb... It's def something to think about over the next couple of days...

Hale was on 53 at halftime vs the crows...shows that he can put on points! Im putting Petrie on in the fwds becuase i bought him to socre points not to sit on the ruck bench.

Matera wont score this week he'll be lucky to see it in the Suns forward line due to them being so Shower ! I would go hale !

Ziplock

would you place money on the suns being shocking and matera not scoring? Because I wouldn't :P

I think people are seriously underrating them based on their NAB performances ;)

Agreed. I dont think they will win, but they'll certainly get enough of the ball. Whether Matera does is a different story, but id still take Matera over Hale.

I reckon that if ablett is fully fit, it could end up being a very close game. It's the one I'm most interested to see how it goes anyway :P

I'm a Blues supporter, and still recon there is no guarantee of beating the GC :(

think the ball will be spread around lots - so matera + other GC rookies will have plenty of opportunity IMO..

Thanks for your thoughts! Might stick with hale, i might end up regretting it but i can see him kicking a few goals against melb this week.

+1 - i vote for Matera

although Melb is a bit light on in talls in def with Frawley out ...

but i'd still go Matera mate (to get off the fence) ...

it also shows her can go seriously missing, what happnes if he does that all game and scores 30.

Petrie will be chomping at the bit after his suspension. Start him. Doesnt matter where, but start him. I'm gonna assume he'll be most profitable for you in the forward line, like he will be for my team.

I'm leaving petrie in the fwds. I think i'll leave my team unchanged this week, just hope my 3 underperforming players come through for me this week!
