Cheating for weekly glory

Hey guys.

Just wondering whether you're as suss on this weeks winner as I am.
The team name is "Eliza Go Team" and check out the side.
Every area has the 3 cheapest rookies on the bench utilising all possible money on the field.
I wonder how many people create a new team each week just hoping to snag one.

I reckon there should be a rule against that sort of thing. What does everyone else think ??
It just seems dodgy to me.

it's not just that team, only 11 of the top 50 have a ranking for last week, don't know how they can stop it without stopping all new entries after season starts

Haha, we've talked about this since last week we noticed similar happenings with the winner.

I'd guess quite a few enter extra teams going for the weekly hoping to snatch the 1k from those who've worked hard the entire season so far. I don't much care for people who do this and hopefully they get brought up for the multiple teams.

+1 - recall Marcz commenting on this re the 'rules' and he reckons they wouldn't be able to establish that they were fair dinkum so wouldn't be paid out the $1k ...  ;)

Well I hope the big wigs see this and put a minimum weeks played rule on it.
E.g. You must have played 3 rounds to win the weekly prize.

There already is a rule - you can only enter one team per year. How they enforce it, I don't know, but I bet all those teams had entries before

like this idea a lot. there will still be teams that have a crack three weeks out (say for example, having a crap team for three weeks leading up to a multi-bye or something), but it's still a good concept.

on a personal level i dont really care if people have a shot at the weekly prize by creating new teams. haven't done it myself, but am not fazed by it given how random it really is to win.

should also add that my girlfriend has a sudden interest in SC and will be fileding a team this week, depending how she goes i hear my dog is interested in having a go at this caper the week after. as for my cat, wouldn't you know, he's undecided. ;)
