If you select a VC, and don't select a Captain, your VC will score double

okay fair enough.... 1 dont understand tho is if your stupid enough not to pick a captain your vice captain would stay the same... :P its not like you picked a captain and then he didnt play.. but anyway..

Its been like this for awhile, it is an accepted part of sc dt.

So i selected Gibbs as VC and swan as Captain... So all i need to do to get gibbs doubled is trade swan out save team then trade him back in?? and this will work guaranteed?

Apparently n4c! I don't do the loop hole so I don't know if it really works but from what I hear from others who've tried it, it worked last season so should work again. But don't blame me if it doesn't! :P.

well, I only just realised I had richardson selected as my captain. No idea why. Just glad I picked it up now, not in an hour.

I have only had Gibbs with the VC and no Captain at all since last week but there is some slightly ambiguous wording on the DT website about captains so I have changed it to Harris from GC as Captain with Bewick his emergency as that way I am 100% sure that Gibbs 147 will get doubled.

The other way of not having a captain worked last year and I am sure it will this year but to make absolute sure I have done it as above. The only risk is if there is a late withdrawal but imo that is a smaller risk than VS closing the loophole.

My 2 cents anyway...

yea i went this way aswell.... so gibbs is guranteed the points...

i always go a person not playing as captain, so i crrently have harris captain with krak as emergency on the bench
