Partial Lockout 'Emergency' Loophole (not the 'Captain/Vice' Loophole)

Has this been mentioned before?
It sounds to me like another way to exploit the Partial Lockout.
If you, like me, have Duigan on your DEF bench, and Conca on your MID bench and also have a GC player on your bench in DEF & MID - set Duigan & Conca as emergencies before the Thursday lockout.
If either or both get CRAZY scores (lets say >130 - they might ;)), then between Thursday and Friday, move the related GC player onto the field for one of your cheaper onfield players (not likely to get 130+).
Then when your GC player scores a zero, you will get the emergencies score.

Its not as useful as the Captain/Vice Loophole, but may come in handy.

Will that work?

yes it is also possible to get a second go with your rich/carl rookies...not sure if this use of the loophole has been discussed here but it has been on yscc :)

Yeah it will work, have duigan set as emergency and if scores well, will put toy/stanley on the ground. If he scores over 90 i'd take it as a 7th back for round 1 for sure.

The only risk is that all your other backs need to be playing, otherwise you will score a donut.

Yeah but if you don't have 2/4 playing rookies round 1 then well....

True, however, being round 1 you really should have a full set of backs/mids playing. If someone isn't named - get rid of them before lockout - they're not worth it if thats the early sign.
Or if you must keep them, sub them. You should also be aiming to have 2 round 1 rookies on the bench (plus your GC), so bring the other on. Early signs suggest there should be quite a few rookies playing (atleast round 1 anyway ::)).
Unless you expect your whole team to crash round 1 :o

I was reading on another site of a guy that used the Emergercy loophole with Yarran and Foley! Pure genius 8) or bloody fluke :o
Either way - GREAT CALL.
Wish I had done the same with Yarran. No doubt he'll bounce back next round though.

Yeah, I did that with Duigan and Conca, but not Yarran :'( Now I just have to decide whether 59 and 61 are enough, or whether I play Otten/Lower in the backs or Heppel/Liba in the mids??
