Memphistopheles

Hi guys,

I have had a break from Dream Team for the past couple of seasons and come back to find what looks like an even more exciting game.

I used to come to fanfooty back when the afl site didn’t do the DT points in the live match viewer.

Just wondering what you think of this team:

Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Waters, Otten, Heppell, Lower, Duigan, Stanley, Coad.

Midfielders: Swan, Boyd, Selwood, M Murphy, Foley, Conca, Hibberd, Prestia, Harris

Rucks: Sandilands, Cox, Z Smith Tippett (FWD/RUC link for Petrie)

Forwards: Franklin, Riewoldt, Pavlich, Rioli, Knights, A Krakouer, J Darling, Petrie, C Richardson, B Matera.

Thoughts?

I have links from mid to def, mid to forward and ruck to forward, but not def to forward.

Swan is my captain, with Gibbs as vice-captain (in case of the lockout loophole).

I like the look of Josh Fraser as a ruck, but couldn’t quite fit him in â€" Would like to have him for Zac Smith if possible.

Other players I was considering as i think they will be good picks (and rise in value) are Hurley (Ess), Dennis-Lane (Syd),

There's been some talk that Murphy is carrying an injury, you might want to look elsewhere. Not too bad otherwise.

Thanks mate, although he has been listed to start in the midfield for Carlton, which is a good sign.

Who would you replace him with? I have hardly any spare cash at the moment so it would have to be someone of equal or lesser value.

I had a thought - is it wise to leave Duigan and Conca on the bench as emergencies (with Lower and Hibberd in the starting lineup) to see how they score tomorrow night and then if they do score well just sub in a GC player for Lower/Hibberd before the next lockout?

And if they score poorly leave Lower and Hibberd in.

Am I able to do this?
