Obviously Kerr can be a gun when he's hot but it's been a long time since he's been in near Brownlow winnign form?

just seeing what the general feel on him is. I'm thinking that it might be a too bigger risk to start with and that he'll be a great upgrade should he deliver

thoughts?

I dont think he will be a good upgrade target. Better to get a star who goes down in value, with less injury and suspension worries. Its either you take the gamble early, or not at all IMO

cortez

Why not take ward? 15K cheaper and you know his price will rise!

BratPack

Every year for the past couple I've thought the same thing. Every year I wind up with my team royally screwed by round 12. NEVER AGAIN

Vicious Sandwhich Attack

I've rolled the dice... again. He has a history, but too hard for me to turn down for that price - I think it's a matter of being confident that your bench can deliver regularly in case it doesn't work out.

AJ2k8

Racked up 20 possessions in his Wafl match in a half of footy.. Skipped out on him last year because of price but this year he's hard to turn down. If he's listed in the team for round 1 this arvo i will strongly consider putting him in my team..

nope especially with the stunt he pulled on the weekend when he belted that bloke hes still a loose cannon

simma1978

Simple answer would be NO. Between is dodgy body and him punching blokes he is a waste of space these days..

browny_wce

hes doubtful for Round 1, probably play as a sub for the first couple of weeks, got a dodgy hammy (tightness still) and hes proven (with the hit on Lukey Blackwell-Claremont) that he still has mind explosions albiet it was a pretty pore strike, but Blacky just shook it off)
I'd be saying a big NO!!

just not worth the risk IMO ...

even worse than taking a punt on Leon Davis in a new half-back role ... the downside risk isn't quite cancelled out by the upside potential ...
