Question.

Can we just put VC on Gibbs.  Do we even need to set a Captain (on bench) and Emergency when Carlton play Richmond?

No you don't, but if you already have someone selected. Don't know if you can have it removed...

charliesheen

ya u remove by, removing, adding someone else then saving

then removing, and adding your oringial guy that had captain if that makes sense.

Dont wan to sound stupid, but im intriged by this swapping the captain topic!! Arent your choices for C and VC ocked after the start of CAR V Rich game? How can u change ur C after that???

Because of the partial lockout, you can still make changes to your team after the first game as long as it doesn't involve blues or tigers players.

So say you have Judd as VC and Swan as C, if Judd scores 150 and you're happy with that score, then you put the C on someone who wont play say Harris. Then nominate an emergency for the mid position. As Harris hasn't played, he'll get subbed and your VC will have their score doubled.

If Judd scores 10, then you simply leave the team as it is.

But if he scores 150, then to be sure to trade Swan out, then trade him back in otherwise you will waste an emergency spot.

By doing the above you don't have to put the C on anyone, and your emergency can still come into play and you don't have to put Harris/Swallow on the field.

Thanks for the tip. Always thought that if you selected a captain, there would always be one in your side.

No problem.

This also works for an emergency too. For instance naming Duigan as an Emergency. If he scores well, then put a GC player on the field, but in this case you lose your emergency spot...
